Starting with the first film I worked on then ending with last film... here is a small insight into designing for film/TV.
Creature / costume / tech / alien vehicle designer.
Time on the project approx 4 months from pitch to production. For every completed design I would estiment 20-50 different versions where done and then 10-15 variations on the 'final' design in terms of colour, texture, accessories.
